An avant-garde in the specialised field of dental ceramic furnaces, DEKEMA Dental-Keramiköfen has reinforced its track record with the release of the AUSTROMAT series i of furnaces that paves the way for the many benefits of a digital dental lab. Unveiled in 2017, the AUSTROMAT i-furnaces are the first in the world to offer the capabilities of stream firing, pressing and sintering cycles.
Dental laboratories and large milling centres have come to rely on DEKEMA’s family of AUSTROMATs for their highly intuitive user interface, outstanding firing and pressing results, and superior reliability. Even the German company’s original firing furnace, AUSTROMAT 2001 A, continues to be used in many laboratories around the world today, marking approximately 50 years of operation.
Fitted with digital intelligence hardware and software, DEKEMA’s furnaces are easy to troubleshoot and can be remotely operated using any smartphone or personal computer. This technique now fulfils its role inside DEKEMA’s new, state-of-the-art 3D DLP printer, rounding out the claim of DEKEMA as the digital forerunner that brings analogue techniques into the digital dental world.
